Biography
Gregory Landegger is an investor, author, and technologist whose work spans digital assets, super intelligence, interactive gaming, and space. He is a Principal at a New York-based single family office and has led its thematic investments across disruptive technologies since 2015.
He began his career in pulp and paper equipment manufacturing and rose to global executive roles. He then worked as a high yield credit analyst before moving into private equity, where he led operations and turnarounds at industrial businesses. That experience shapes how he evaluates emerging technology.
The portfolios he builds today span stages and structures, from early-stage companies through to public equities. He starts every investment with fundamentals and looks for durable businesses with real customers, sound economics, and a credible path to scale. He weighs execution, cost structure, and management as closely as the market opportunity. Within each theme, he favors the infrastructure layer: the companies that supply the tools, networks, and capacity the rest of the market depends on. His goal is to help those businesses grow, working alongside founders as a patient, long-term partner.
Greg publishes BitDigest, a daily newsletter tracking government and corporate developments across emerging technologies. He is also the co-author of Metaverse Dream, published by Assouline.
An early adopter, he is drawn to how new technology changes markets, institutions, and everyday life. He reads widely across history, philosophy, and policy, and often brings those fields into his writing. He has presented to policymakers and institutions including the G20, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, state governments, and universities in the U.S. and Europe.
Greg is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, where he played on the Men's Division I Soccer team.
